Fast decalcification of histological preparations (bones, teeth, hard tissue samples). The high dissolving power and the high dissolution rate of the acid allows for a fast extraction of the bone calcium in about 1/10 of the time normally needed for decalcification. Good preservation of the organic structure and the colourability of the preparations. By means of a two-meter connecting cable the decalcifying unit can be placed separately from the power supply unit under a vent. Tungsten Wolfram / platinum electrodes are used and there is thus no degradation of the electrodes and thus no deposit on the preparations. The electrolytic bone decalcifier is supplied with one or two decalcifying units.
