NCP and NCD are culture ware for 3D cell culture. One can get spheroid using these culture ware and general growth media containing a heat inactivated FBS.

For establishing your cell culture condition for the first time, it is better to use low-binding plates set, micro-square and micro-honeycomb (Cat.# NCP-LSH96-2), and choose the appropriate pattern. 
High-binding plate is suitable for low adherence cell. Please try to use this type of plate when cell has difficulties to attach and form spheroids on the low-binding plate.

For culturing the above cell line, MS pattern plate and M type medium are considered as appropriate culture condition.

How to choose the optimum plate pattern

Two cell lines were cultured with low- and high- binding plates.

In case of the left side cell line, high-binding plate is suitable as the spheroids have difficulties to attach on low-binding plate and grow disproportionately. On the other hand, low-binding plate is suitable for the right side cell line as the cells form monolayer on high-binding plate
